There is the perspective of changing a number of criteria according to which annual selection sessions will increase the selection of the potential immigrants. In particular, there will be an opportunity to shortlist those candidates who didn’t have the lowest passing score but correspond to the main criteria.

Mr. Macaway also pointed out the improvements of the system, such as the reduction of terms of handling of the applications, which for now are less than six months, and general transparency of the system. He also emphasized the development of closer cooperation between the federal selection system Express Entry with the provincial immigration system of Canada which the government of Canada plans to expand giving the opportunity for the provincial services choose the candidates from their provinces.

Mr. Macaway also mentioned that whole number of admitted immigration applications has significantly increased. For May, 24 2018 there has been 83 111 candidates.

Canadian Immigration Policy

With launching in 2015 the Express Entry program, the number of immigrants that enter country practically left unchanged. However, the quality composition has changed. From the process of submitting the right to live and to work in Canada, there is practically excluded the human factor. Unfortunately, this severe logic in many ways kill the dreams of those who see the only chance to be settled in this life with the help of immigration. Nevertheless, on the other hand, it motivates the potential immigrants to learn the language, improve their professional skills during the process of preparation to immigrate to Canada. When making conclusions from all the above, then it turns out that the implied in 2015 system significantly complicated the receiving the right to live in Canada to those who need it very much, but at the same time it simplified it to those who are really worth this position.
